Nestled at 12000 S Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd building 6, this charming eatery offers a delightful escape for those seeking delicious food after a satisfying day on the slopes.
What sets Stone Haus apart is its combination of welcoming customer service and exceptional quality food. As highlighted in a glowing review by Tommy Duque, despite being understaffed, the staff exudes joy and enthusiasm while serving patrons, making every visit a pleasant experience. From the aromatic garlic bread to the expertly crafted pizzas, each dish is thoughtfully prepared to deliver satisfying flavors that resonate with diners. One cannot help but admire the inviting warmness that fills the air.
Whether you’re craving a fulfilling meal after skiing or just looking for a delicious snack, Stone Haus has something for everyone. Jason Walker praised their fresh pizza, which is baked on-site, while others like David Dixon enjoyed a laid-back evening with perfect pizzas that served as the ideal addition to family movie night. The outdoor seating offers a delightful ambiance when the weather cooperates, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
For those who appreciate value, Holly Bunker's experience highlights the affordability of a large Hawaiian BBQ pizza, generously shared among three adults. With every slice balancing cheesy goodness and flavor, it’s clear why patrons rave about their meals. Additionally, Richard Ward shared his love for the light and crispy crust, along with the sizable Mediterranean salad that rounds off the meal perfectly.
While the menu may not have an extensive list, it’s clear that the focus on quality over quantity speaks volumes about Stone Haus Pizzeria & Creamery. As customer feedback consistently affirms, the dishes served here are not merely food, but rather an experience characterized by flavor, comfort, and community. Whether you choose to dine in or takeout, I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by Stone Haus for a culinary adventure that captures the heart of this charming mountain village.
“ Great customer service. Understaffed but they are so happy to serve you! Great pizza and garlic bread. Update: Came back for an afternoon snack today(we didn’t eat lunch because we were on the slopes the WHOLE day). My sister and I split a hot sandwich, the roast beef sandwich to be exact. It was great. Small for 2 people but really tasty. Came with chips. Once again, the customer service was spectacular. Though their menu options are limited, all the food they serve and offer to serve you is great tasting and high quality. I wish they had pasta! I could only imagine how good it would be. Anyways, recommend this if your staying at the Inn or anywhere in the Solitude village. ”
“ We were looking for breakfast and tried four different places before we wandered into the Stone Haus. They were very nice and they baked us a fresh pizza and it was yummy. ”
“ Pizza was perfect for a low key evening after skiing. Plan to bring it back home or eat outside on a nice day, the seating inside is pretty bare. Our pizzas were perfect and hit the spot while the kids watched a movie in the condo! ”
“ Best bang for your buck at solitude. We got a large Hawaiian bbq pizza for about 25 to share between three of us adults and it was perfect and really good. It was really cheesy and the flavor was awesome. It’s right by the clock tower in the village, so easily accessible from the bottom lift. ”
“ Delicious pizza! Located smack dab in the middle of the Village, we walked to dinner, had the place to ourselves, (and we acted like it! Haha) the service was over the top good, the pizza...unbelievably flavorful, the crust...crispy and light, and their salads, (Mediterranean), were delicious and a very large portion! The best part though...cold pizza and beer for lunch the next day! Especially if it's in the backwoods in knee deep snow You should try it! The pizza that is... ”
“ Fantastic pizza at an amazing price for a ski resort! 19 for a large 16” cheese/25 specialty pizza a discount for Ikon pass holders. Meanwhile, the Last Chance eatery near the Apex lift is 18 for ONE burger, and at the Alpine Rose over at Brighton a whole pizza is 39! ”
“ The BBQ chicken pizza was amazing!! Made fresh and right in front of us. The kids grilled cheese was also a hit. Super great and friendly service. ”
“ Probably the best pizza I tried and that is considering that I’m not a big pizza fan. Staff is nice and prices are reasonable. Very much recommended. ”
